Dijon Football Côte-d'Or in brief

Founded in 2006, the women's section of Dijon Football Côte-d'Or has continued to evolve since its inception, focusing on training. The team discovered Division 1 Arkema under the leadership of Yannick Chandioux, at the end of a historic 2017-18 season punctuated by the first place in Division 2 Group B.

The club has been chaired since 2016 by Sébastien Larcier, a former player with Dijon Football Côte-d'Or between 2003 and 2008.

In 2011 and while they were in Division 2, the Dijon women achieved what remains to this day their best result on a national level with a French Cup semi-final.

At the end of the 2020-2021 Arkema D1 season, the Dijon finished in 8th position, one position higher than the previous season.

The Parisian women against Dijon

On 2019/20 D1 Arkema matchday 3, the capital's players beat Dijon 4-0 with goals from Baltimore and Diani.

On October 4th, 2020, the Parisians have defeated them 3 - 0 in Dijon, with goals from Luana and Baltimore.

Eight months later, the Red and Blue faced the Dijonnaises for the last decisive day of the D1 Arkema. Forced to win this match to become French Champion of the 2020-2021 season, the Parisians won this match with a score of 3 to 0 despite a team of Dijon motivated to counter the plan of the Paris Saint-Germain players. 
Irene Paredes, Sara Dabritz and Jordyn Huitema sealed the first national championship for the Rouge et Bleu after 8 seasons in second place of the D1 Arkema.

Dijon women hosted PSG as part of the 7th matchday of the season 2021/2022, the Parisians won 3 to nil, The second leg in Paris took place on February 11, 2022 as part of matchday 12 of the D1 Arkema, the Parisians won 5-nil just a few days before their next game in Fleury-Mérogis.

Born on March 14th, 1994, in Quimper, Elody Salaun is a player of Dijon FCO since her arrival in June 2021. After having evolved for a long time in Brittany under the colors of Lorient then Brest, this left back participated in her first minutes in D1 Arkema by joining the Reds, after having regularly played at the lower level. On October 31th, 2021, she was in the starting lineup against Paris Saint-Germain, often confronted to Kadidiatou Diani on the left side.

Le Stade des Poussots

Since the creation of the club in 1988, the Stade des Poussots has been the venue of choice for Dijon Football Côte-d'Or. Located in the heart of the training centre for professional teams, the complex also hosts all the Dijon club's youth teams. The pitch has a covered side stand and an artificial turf pitch.

Located on the southern outskirts of the city along the Suzon river, the Stade des Poussots is easily accessible by car, with numerous parking spaces in the vicinity.
