The women's section of En Avant Guingamp is the leading football club in Brittany. Founded in 1971 under the name of Saint Brieuc Sporting Club, the club was successively named Saint-Brieuc FF then Stade Briochin until 2011, before being absorbed by the professional club En Avant Guingamp.
In terms of honours, the club won one Division 1 Arkema title in 1989, as well as ten victories in the Brittany Cup.
The team has been coached since the summer of 2018 by Frédéric Biancalani, a former professional player and coach of the Guingampais U17s.

The Parisian women against Guingamp
On November 3, 2019, the Parisian women received the Guingampaises on matchday 8. The players from the capital city were unable to make the difference against EA Guingamp, final score 1-1. In the return match in Brittany on February 2, the Red and Blue won 4-1 thanks to four different scorers : Diani, Lawrence, Geyoro and Baltimore.

Trained at Paris Saint-Germain, she made her debut at the highest level at the age of 15. She scored unknowingly the last goal of the Parisian women's D1 Arkema season against Guingamp (90th) on February 22nd, 2020, in a 4-1 victory.
Born on September 9, 1997 in Bamako, Mali, Aissata Traoré plays as a striker for EA Guingamp. After a loan to Besiktas by his club AS Super Lionne, she won the title of Turkish champion 2018/19. At the end of the season 2021/22 ended in the 8th place of D1 Arkema, the Breton club announced its contract extension until 2024. With the Malian national team, she scored her first goal during the African Cup of Nations against Cameroon on November 17, 2018.

Inaugurated in 1990, the Fred Aubert Stadium, named after the first president of the Stade Briochin, is the official enclosure for the women of the En Avant Guingamp. The stadium has a total capacity of nearly 2,500, as well as two covered side stands. On May 8th, 2008, the French team played Serbia in a qualifying match for the 2009 European Championship.
Located on the periphery of the RN12 linking Brest to Rennes, the site is easily accessible by car, as well as by train from the TER - TGV station in Saint-Brieuc.
In the 2022/23 season, the club won against Le Havre (2 - 1), Soyaux (3 - 1) and Rodez (2 - 1).
