The women's section of Rodez Aveyron Football was created in 1993, with ambitions limited to the regional championship of Midi-Pyrénées. After several seasons in the 3rd division, the club moved up to Division 1 Arkema in 2010, following the acquisition of the D2 title. For its first participation, the team ranks at a very good 6th place, a small feat for a promoted team.
The club's best performance in the French Cup remains a semi-final against Olympique Lyonnais during the 2015/16 season.
At the end of an exceptional season 2021/22, marked by the 1st place of the Group B of Division 2, only 1 defeat and the best defense of the championship, the Yellow and Red make their return in D1 at the dawn of the season 2022/23, beside the team of Le Havre.

Present in Division 1 Arkema during the 2018/19 season, the Yellow and Red hosted Paris Saint-Germain on November 25, 2018, for a narrow 2 - 1 loss. In the return match on March 31, 2019, the Red and Blue won 3 goals to 0.

Born on January 11, 1998 in Chatenay-Malabry in the Hauts-de-Seine, Elisa De Almeida is a French footballer who plays as a defender. Trained at FCF Juvisy, which later became Paris FC, she also passed through Montpellier before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2021. It was against the Red and Blue that she played her first professional match, on December 10, 2016, when she was only 18 years old. With the youth teams of the French team, she won the European Championship in 2016, alongside Katoto, Morroni and Cascarino.
Born on July 9, 1992 in Draguignan in the Var, Sofia Guellati is a French-Algerian player evolving in the position of defender. After a series of tests in Montpellier, she knows her first minutes in D3 then in D2 under the colors of Etoile sportive arpajonnaise. In 2015, she joined Rodez, then in Division 1 Arkema, then also knew the D2 with the Yellow and Red. During the season 2021/22, she participates in 22 matches of championship, allowing her team to finish at the 1st place and thus to find the D1.

Located in downtown Rodez, near the Soulages Museum, the Paul Lignon Stadium is the official stadium of Rodez Aveyron Football. The 4th of March 2009 remains an important date in the history of the stadium: as part of French Cup Round of 16, Rodez received the Paris Saint-Germain. The locals achieved the feat of winning 3 goals to 1, before losing to Rennes at the next stage.
During the 2022/23 season, the club have defeated Dijon (2 - 1), Soyaux (1 - 0) and Fleury (2 - 1).
