Orlen Wisla Plock
Founded in 1964 in the city of Plock, Poland, Wisla Plock is one of the main Polish handball clubs, along with KS Kielce. The club had a successful period in the 2000s, winning 5 league titles and 4 Polish Cups. In recent years, Wisla Plock has been a regular in the places of honor, as evidenced by 7 consecutive cup finals between 2011 and 2017, and 11 second places in the championship between 2011 and 2022.
On the European scene, the club reached the EHF Champions League Round of 16 in 2020, defeated by Pick Szeged.
Kamil Syprzak, the pivot of Paris Saint-Germain, knows well the Orlen Wisla Plock: between 2009 and 2015, he wore its jersey, before joining FC Barcelona.

Kamil Syprzak, a former member of the club, knows Orlen Wisla Plock well, having played for the club between 2009 and 2015. After winning almost everything collectively with FC Barcelona and then Paris Saint-Germain, the Polish pivot has also distinguished himself individually by being elected Best Pivot of the French Championship and Champions League in the 2021-22 season. With his national team, his best result to date remains a 3rd place at the World Championships in 2015, won by France.
Born on June 27, 1992, in Tczew, northern Poland, Michal Daszek is a handball player evolving as a right back. Trained in the club of his hometown, he joined Wisla Plock in 2014, a new club in which he played alongside Kamil Syprzak. At the 2015 World Championships in Qatar, he participated in Poland's superb performance, winning the bronze medal against Spain after defeating Croatia and the host country.
The Orlen Arena

Opened in 2010, the Orlen Arena has a capacity of 5,400 seats and is the official venue of Orlen Wisla Plock. A naming contract for the club and the arena links Wisla Plock and the Orlen petrochemical group.
Located in the city center of Plock, not far from the Vistula River, the Orlen Arena celebrated its inauguration with a concert by Jean-Michel Jarre on November 13, 2010.
