The women's section of Breidablik UBK is one of the most important in the Urvalsdeild kvenna, the Icelandic soccer league. Based in Kopavogur, in the southwest of the island, the club has one of the most talked-about teams in Icelandic soccer. In 2018, the Blikar have notably achieved the cup - championship double.
