Founded in 2002 under the name of FK Kharkiv, WFC-2 Kharkiv is one of the leading women's soccer clubs in Ukraine. The club has won the Ukrainian Championship 5 years in a row between 2011 and 2015, as well as the Ukrainian Cup between 2013 and 2016 consecutively.

On the European scene, the club reached the UEFA Women Champions League Round of 32 in 2009, defeated by the future semi-finalists, the Swedish Umea IK. The Ukrainians repeated the feat in 2018, but Linkoping, another Swedish club, blocked their way to the Round of 16.

The club is coached by the Ukrainian technician Valentina Kotik, former player of the national team.

The club won both the Cup and the Championship 3 years in a row between 2013 and 2015.

Following the UEFA Women's Champions League draw, made on September 9, 2021, the club is part of Group B, composed of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Breidablik.

The Ukrainians have been travelling to Paris on October 13, 2021, on matchday 2. With the first hat-trick from Jordyn Huitema with the Red and Blue, the Parisians went victorious 5 - 0 at Jean Bouin Stadium. On the return match in Ukraine on December 8, 2021, the Parisians won 6 - 0.

Born on July 5, 1998, in Challans in the Vendée, Constance Picaud has been playing as a goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain since the summer of 2021. Playing with the national team between 2008 and 2021, she participated in the Euro 2009 organized in Finland. She was a starter on October 13, 2021, against the Red and Blue, without being able to prevent the defeat of her team.
