Founded in 1964 under the leadership of its first president Christian Baugmarth, US Créteil Handball is a club in the Val de Marne chaired by Eric Poignant since 2017. Under the direction of Pierre Montorier, coach since 2018, the team succeeded in going back to the Liqui Moly Starligue for the 2019/20 season, two years after having left it.
After a disappointing 2017/18 season, US Créteil Handball achieved a great 2018/19 season, finishing second in the ranking behind Chartres Métropole Handball, as well as a play-off final. Over the years, the club has built up an interesting list of achievements with a Division 1 champion title in 1989, two French Cups, one League Cup and three Division 2 champion titles.

They have played against each other on numerous occasions in the Liqui Moly Starligue, and their last French Cup match was on March 19, 2015. In the quarter-finals stage, the Red and Blue have defeated them 28 - 25 before winning the trophy against HBC Nantes.
On November 20, 2019, Val-de-Marne players were welcoming the Parisians on matchday 10. Luc Abalo and his teammates won 28-39 with an impressive match of Mikkel Hansen! During the return match at Coubertin, Nikola Karabatic's teammates had defeated them once again 39 - 26, as part of matchday 16.

Trained in his hometown club, HV Gemini Voerendaal, in the Netherlands, Luc Steins started his professional career with the Limburg Lions in 2012. 4 years later, he made his first experience abroad by signing for Massy Essonne HB, playing at that time in the Proligue. During the following seasons, he progressively climbs the ladder by signing for another club of Ile-de-France, Tremblay, before signing for Fenix Toulouse HB in the 2019/20 season. A year later, Luc Steins is loaned to PSG to compensate for the long injury of N.Karabatic. In the capital, the half-center of 1,73 m expressed all his talent and becomes the MVP of the season 2020/21 of Liqui Moly Starligue.
Born on March 15, 1996 in Chartres, Eure-et-Loire, Dylan Soyez plays as a goalkeeper at US Créteil Handball. Trained at the club, he made his first professional season in 2015/16, alongside Nedim Remili and Hugo Descat. The 2021/22 season is his best career to date, including one of the best % of penalty saves in the league. On October 10, 2021 against Nancy, he made an exceptional match with 20 saves in total, including 2 on penalty kicks.

Inaugurated on December 17, 1988, in the presence of the former President of the French National Olympic Sports Committee Nelson Paillou, the Palais des Sports Robert-Oubron is the current venue used by the US Créteil Handball. It has a total capacity of 2,500 seats. The venue is named after Robert Oubron, five times French cyclo-cross champion in the 1940s, who later became National Director of the French Cycling Federation.
Located close to the university district of Créteil, the Palais des sports Robert Oubron is accessible by public transport via metro line 8 at the Créteil - Université stop, as well as at the Gare du Vert de Maisons RER D stop. By car from Paris, take exit 22 on the A86. Numerous parking spaces are available nearby.
