HC Meshkov Brest is a Belarusian handball club playing in its own league as well as in the SEHA League, a regional competition including clubs from Vardar Skopje, RK Zagreb and Veszprem KSE. The club has reached the final of this competition twice, in 2014 and 2015.

HC Meshkov Brest has won 12 national championship, including 7 consecutive times between 2014 and 2020, as well as 11 Belarusian Cups. The best result of the club in the Champions League to date remains Round of 16 in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

After training at BM Granollers, he discovered the Liqui Moly Starligue in 2016 following his transfer to Fenix Toulouse. In July 2019, he signed a 3-years contract with Paris Saint-Germain. With La Roja, he won the European Championship twice, in 2018 and 2020.

Born on May 8, 1991, in Lepiel, Belarus, Ivan Matskevich plays as a goalkeeper for Meshkov Brest. After training at Arkatron Minsk, he joined SKA Minks and then Steaua Bucharest, before signing for Meshkov Brest in 2017. This signing will allow him to experience his first steps in the EHF Champions League. That same year, he participated in the beautiful journey of Belarus at the World Championships held in France, reaching the Round of 16.
