PARIS
vs
Nancy Handball in brief
Founded in 1942 under the name ASPTT Nancy, Nancy Handball has progressed rapidly since 1997 and their accession to the Nationale 3. In 2003, they reached the Proligue for the first time in their history. Often among the top teams of the league, the club did not manage to reach Liqui Moly Starligue. It was finally done at the end of the 2020/21 season, which came to a close at the 2nd place thanks to a victory over Pontault-Combault.
During the 2018/19 season, the club reached the French Cup semi-finals against Dunkerque. Unfortunately, the challenge seemed too significant for the team who lost (17-27) despite 8 goals from Yann Ducreux.
Since 2019, the club is coached by Benjamin Braux, the former coach of Tremblay between 2017 and 2019.
